Waxy Record Player

Anyone else remember the plastic Playskool record players from childhood? Just me?

This print was originally created on Record Store Day (April 20) and combines records with diner slang. In diner slang, wax, as in ‘add some wax’, meant to add American cheese. Vinyl is also called wax because of what record originals were made from. So it was a combo of the two.
